Description

John F. Kennedy: 1953 Senatorial Gift with Bonus. 1) 9" x 8" black leather purse with turquoise leather interior stamped "De Marley New York Paris". This was a Christmas gift from Senator John F. Kennedy to Mary Gallagher in 1953 and was sold at her 2003 estate sale. Sold together with some paper ephemera associated with its sale in 2003. 2) Small bottle of Tuvaché perfume marketed by Saks Fifth Avenue of Palm Beach and given away during the presidential election of 1960.

Condition: #1 has light soiling and wear, commensurate with use, toning to the brass fittings.
