Description

Woman's Suffrage: Ithaca, New York Convention Ribbon, 1894. 2.75" x 5.5". Most suffrage items come from the decade between 1910 and 1920, when the right to vote for women really seemed like a distinct possibility. Any 19th century pieces are scarce, and that is what makes this 1894 specimen so special. It was issued for the 26th annual convention of the New York Woman Suffrage Association Convention held in Ithaca that year. This fringed ribbon is in excellent condition.
