Description

William McKinley et al: Selection of Six Michigan Political and Civic Badges. A fine assortment of six badges relating to Michigan politicians and regional events, highlighted by a 4" 1933 Official Farm and Industrial Fair badge issued to Governor William A. Comstock, his personally assigned example from the event. Also included is an interesting Blaine Club Banquet badge from Port Huron with a 1¾" celluloid portrait drop, and a Harrison and Reid campaign ribbon featuring an image of John T. Rich, Republican gubernatorial candidate in 1884. A fascinating 2 1/4" x 7" McKinley and Hobart jugate ribbon listing Oscoda, Au Sable, McKinley, and Tawas, four towns along Michigan's Au Sable and Lake Huron corridor reflecting local political enthusiasm during the 1896 campaign. A must-have group for the Michigan collector!

Condition: Exceptionally fresh and crisp condition on these. The Blaine with just a touch of wear to the silver lettering.
