Description
Theodore Roosevelt: 1912 Presidential Campaign Bull Moose Watch Fob. 1.75" x 2.5". Stamped brass. On October 14, 1912, while on his way to deliver a campaign speech, Theodore Roosevelt was shot by John Schrank. With a bullet lodged in his chest, Roosevelt went on to deliver his ninety minute speech. Undoubtedly this watch fob marks the event with the caption "Keep Alive the Progressive Spirit the Bullet Could Not Kill" with a small charm in the form of a lead bullet with the initials "T.R." dangling beneath. A rare Teddy Roosevelt campaign item in fine condition.Auction Info
