Silas Wright: 1844 Governor Ribbon. 3" x 6 1/4" ribbon in support of Silas Wright for Governor of New York, and Addison Gardiner Lieutenant Governor. Wright was also a presidential hopeful in 1844, but eventually gave his support to Martin Van Buren. A rare and desirable ribbon for an obscure candidate.Condition: Light wear, else fine.
