Description
Rutherford B. Hayes: Four Campaign Ribbons. Sizes span from two smaller woven ribbons measuring 1 5/8" x 5 1/4" and 2 1/8" x 4 3/8" to the largest ribbon of the group, the "15th Ward" ribbon, at 2.75" x 8". Of the grouping, one is a jugate, and one features a metallic fringe. All exhibit minor wear and aging. The fringed ribbon exhibits staining, multiple tears with separation, and tarnish at the fringe. The largest ribbon has some loose threads at the top-right corner. In overall good condition, these would display quite well.Auction Info
