Description

John C. Fremont: Graphic Ribbon. 2 1/2" x 7 3/4" silk ribbon for the first Republican presidential candidate. A flag with Liberty cap and pole is inscribed "Fremont & Freedom." It has been removed from a quilt and is framed. It could be left as is, or the threads easily severed and the ribbon separated from the cloth backing. It is one of the better Fremont ribbons.
