John C. Frémont: Exceptional Silk Ribbon. 2 3/8" x 8" silk ribbon (appears white, but might be a very pale shade of pink) with portrait of Frémont, a celestial vignette of eagle, shield, flags and clouds and the inscription: "Free Speech! Free Men!! Free Kansas!! Fremont and Dayton, The Peoples' Candidates. Freemen! Remember November 4th 1856." Excellent condition and the first we've seen.Auction Info
