Description

Distinctive 1864 Lincoln Election Silk Ribbon
Most political ribbons of this era have a portrait of the candidate, making this design a refreshing variant. Very light general soiling does not detract. Two small stain marks at the lower RH corner are also a minimal distraction. Original tiny holes at top where horizontal straight pin was inserted for wearing. Quite scarce, as are most 1864 Lincoln varieties. 2 1/4" x 7". From the Joe Brown Collection.
