Description
Three Sets of 18K Gold and Enamel Men's Cufflinks Given to Lyndon Johnson, Benefiting Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. The cased set of three pair of similar cufflinks is in a fitted leather box lined in suede. The links are identical except for the three colors of enamel, green, yellow, and blue. The cufflinks, by Mila Schön, were given to Lyndon Johnson a few years before his death in 1973. Each link is marked "18K" and "Italy". This lot will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity signed by Lynda Johnson Robb.A full 100% of the net proceeds will benefit the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center at the University of Texas at Austin, in honor of the 2012 Centennial of Lady Bird Johnson's birth.
