Lyndon B. Johnson: Official White House China. 8" dessert plate decorated in gold and salmon with American eagle at top, part of the service delivered to the White House on May 9, 1968. The reverse is inscribed: "The White House/ 1968/ Castleton China Inc/ Private Collection/ Designed By Tiffany and Company/ Made by Castleton China, Inc./ U.S.A." The examples marked "Private Collection" were retained by the manufacturer as display pieces. Mint condition.Auction Info
