Description
Large Steuben Crystal Bowl Presented to Lady Bird Johnson by the University of Texas, Benefiting Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. This beautiful bowl is etched with the Seal of the University of Texas and "Mrs. Lyndon Johnson". The bowl stands 7.25-inches high and is 9-inches in diameter. It is marked on the underside of the base. Mrs. Johnson served on the Board of Regents of the University of Texas System from 1971 to 1978. This lot will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity signed by Lynda Johnson Robb.A full 100% of the net proceeds will benefit the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center at the University of Texas at Austin, in honor of the 2012 Centennial of Lady Bird Johnson's birth.
