Description
Harry S Truman: Personally Owned Opera Glasses. We're not sure if Harry Truman ever attended the opera, but he very likely attended concerts by his daughter Margaret and may have used this pair of glasses. They were made by "Seefar", measure 4 1/4" x 2 1/2", are missing one eyepiece and are engraved "H.S.T." on the chrome frame. Provenance: Doyle's Fine Jewelry Sale, February 25, 2014, lot 563.
