Description
Gerald Ford: Elegant Silver Coffee Service. Tiffany & Company produced this three-piece sterling silver coffee service in Portugal. It is in the 18th century style. The coffee pot is 9.5" tall, the creamer is 5" tall and the sugar bowl is 2.75". Each piece is monogrammed "BFG" (Betty and Gerald Ford). The workmanship is of the highest quality. They are made using thick-gauge silver and have good weight to them. This group is associated with the previous item, a Tiffany & Company sterling silver tray presented to the Fords by the Iranian Ambassador to the United States, Areleshu Zahedi. Mrs. Ford used this when entertaining guests at their Rancho Mirage, CA home. Proceeds of this auction will be used for the new Student Learning Center being developed by the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation. This lot will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity signed by Steve Ford.Auction Info
