Black Noodle Matrix Opal Specimen Presented to President Lyndon B. Johnson, Benefiting Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. The fitted presentation case is inscribed, "Black Noodle Matrix / Lyndon B. Johnson - Historic / Lease / Winton, Queensland / Australia". The specimen measures 70mm x 45mm x 10mm. It was presented to LBJ during his presidency. Johnson enjoyed Australia because he felt it was much like Texas. This lot will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity signed by Lynda Johnson Robb.A full 100% of the net proceeds will benefit the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center at the University of Texas at Austin, in honor of the 2012 Centennial of Lady Bird Johnson's birth.
