Grover Cleveland and Thomas A. Hendricks: Biographical Campaign Broadside. This broadside serves as an advertisement for Grover Cleveland and Thomas A. Hendricks, but also for "N.D. Thompson & Co. Publishers" who specialize in books with "[p]ictorial features." The broadside exhibits eleven scenes, admirable events, and important people from Cleveland's life. The publishing company claims its "portraits on steel are the work of the most eminent American [a]rtists and give the book[s] especial finish, strength, and beauty." Creases are present with some loss where extra worn, creating three small holes at the top portion. Minor toning and aging are present throughout. Housed in a wooden frame exhibiting light wear, it measures approximately 22.25" x 29.25" overall. This piece is in lovely condition and has a wonderful graphic presence.Auction Info
