Franklin Pierce vs. Winfield Scott: Childs Cartoon with Audubon Reference. Medium folio lithograph [14" x 18 1/2"] published by Childs of New York in 1852 titled "Ornithology. Two Great Birds of the United States, not described by Audubon." The turkey Scott wants to leave the South and cross Mason & Dixon's line, but rooster Pierce taunts him and declares he can't do it.
