Description

Abraham Lincoln: Large Framed Engraving. 20 ½" x 28 ½" [sight] engraving titled "Abraham Lincoln" published by Rudolph Lesch of New York, likely in 1864. Lincoln strikes a presidential pose, standing next to a table with documents labeled "Constitution. Union. Proclamation of Freedom." Some border tears at bottom, one tear on right, lower right hand corner detached and re-attached. For this effort, the publisher placed Lincoln's head on the body of Henry Clay. Handsomely matted and framed to an overall size of 30" x 38 ½".
