Description

Abraham Lincoln: 1860 Campaign Print. E. B. & E. C. Kellogg, of Hartford and New York, published this hand-colored lithograph in 1860. It is titled: "Abraham Lincoln, Republican Candidate for Sixteenth President of the United States." The blue coloring remains quite vibrant. The wooden frame complements it nicely and shows only minor scratches and wear. The overall size measures 12.25" x 16.25", with the sight size at 9.625" x 13.625". The print exhibits some light toning and foxing, with the bottom portion showing some wrinkling accompanied by light soiling or mildew. In overall good condition, this print retains its bright colors and would display well. From The Collection of Dr. Blaine Houmes
