[Anti-John Quincy Adams] Andrew Jackson: Hand-Colored Handbill Cartoon. Classic 17" x 11.375" hand-colored engraved cartoon titled, "The Pedlar [sic] and his Pack or the Desperate Effort, an Over Balance." It depicts Henry Clay, President John Quincy Adams, and newspaper editor John Binns, the party responsible for the controversial coffin handbills used against Andrew Jackson in the election of 1828. All three parties are linked with the coffins that threaten to cause their downfall.

Condition: Some loss to the edges, with minor tearing. Toned in a uniform block. Light soiling throughout. Tape is affixed to the back at the top two corners. Colors remain bright.
