Description

Woman's Suffrage: Three British Suffrage Pinbacks. A lot of three suffrage pins from Great Britain. (1) A scarce 1 1/4" with a central shield design, "Votes For Women" appearing on one half, "WFL" inscribed on the other half of shield. Issued by the Women's Freedom League est. 1907. (2) An equally scarce 7/8" button issued by the N.U.W.S.S. with Parliament Chambers, Westminster back paper. (3) A rare and beautifully designed 1 1/4" button with letters "W, S, P, U" in center issued by the Women's Social and Political Union a militant British group founded by Emmeline Pankhurst.

Condition: The WFL pin has some scattered light foxing, the other two buttons are in excellent condition. From the collection of Ronnie Lapinsky Sax
