Description

William McKinley: Eight Assorted Lapel Badges and Stickpins. This is a quality grouping of lapel badges including some very unusual ones. A standout among these is a heavy lead stickpin 3/4" wide x 2" long with the figural head of a Buffalo which holds suspended from its nose a 1 1/8" round metal pan with paper portrait of McKinley. An incredible memorial piece referencing the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo where McKinley was assassinated. Another exquisite little item is an attractive seashell 7/8" wide x 1 1/2" tall with hand-painted inscription "McKinley and Hobart", attached to an enameled flag stickpin with red, white, & blue ribbon. Also a very handsome piece is an encased real photo portrait of McKinley set inside a brass shell disc with a clear lens cover. The brass shell is suspended from crossed rifles on a red, white, & blue ribbon backdrop. A gorgeous piece!

Condition: All items are in excellent condition and retain their original stickpin attachments.
