Wendell Willkie: Highly Sought-After "Out at Third" Cartoon Pin. 1 1/4" button showing Roosevelt sliding into third base, but being tagged out by Willkie. The umpire shouts out "F.D.R. Y'r 'Out' At Third". The Capitol dome appears in the background. Issued in response to F.D.R.'s unprecedented and historical attempt to win a third term as President. One of the cleverest political buttons ever issued, beloved by political and sports collectors alike, and rightly considered the top Willkie. With at most a half dozen examples known, this is considered by most seasoned hobbyists to be one of the premier post-golden era celluloid varieties.
