Theodore Roosevelt: Popular Uncle Sam "Hugger" Pin. 1 3/4" cartoon button depicting a joyous Uncle Sam hugging TR after his return to the U.S. following his African safari of 1910. TR's luggage sits dockside while all sorts of exotic animals appear in the background. Generally considered the best of the "Welcome" buttons from 1910. Whitehead & Hoag back paper. One very small scratch near the bottom. Overall, quite nice. One of the most attractive Teddy Roosevelt pinbacks.Auction Info
