The Sought-after 1904 Theodore Roosevelt and Charles Fairbanks Cartoon Jugate by the Creator of the Teddy Bear Clifford Berryman was one of the most talented political cartoonists of the day, but he is best remembered as the originator of the Teddy Bear as a symbol of TR. This unique 1 3/4" button pictures Teddy and his Vice Presidential runningmate in lock-step, while a little Teddy Bear with a flag declaring "Four Years More of Theodore" trails behind! The cartoon design is signed "Berryman" at 4:00. The present example is in unimprovable, pristine condition. Even the button paper on the back is mint.
