Parker & Davis: Classic "White Elephant" Campaign Button. A scarce and popular 1½" celluloid pinback issued in support of Democratic candidates Alton B. Parker & Henry G. Davis in 1904. "Uncle Sam's White Elephant" is shackled by "Protection" and "The Trusts" and stands upon the football of "The People. Rah! Rah! Rah! A Safety's the Score! Parker & Davis 1904." A bit off-center as often found but the colors are vibrant, a pleasing example.Auction Info
