Description

Lincoln & Hamlin: Choice 1860 Jugate Ribbon with Brady Photos. This collector favorite features the iconic "Cooper Union Photo" of Lincoln, taken by Brady when the future Republican candidate made an historic speech at Cooper Union in New York City on February 27, 1860. This is a very choice example, with full original selvage across top and bottom. One typical horizontal fold line, utterly inconsequential, is noted for accuracy only. It would be difficult indeed to find a superior example. 2.5" x 7.125". From the Merrill C. Berman Collection.
