Description
Landon & Knox: A "Knockout" Jugate. 1" jugate with portraits of the candidates in the middle of a sunflower, inscribed "Landon Knox Out Roosevelt". A fun boxing allusion from the days of the "Brown Bomber" Joe Louis. A simple slogan pin was also issued. The Democrats countered with their own slogan: "Landon Knox But Roosevelt Garners". The G.O.P. was adept at slogans, but challenged when it came to winning elections. Perhaps not the most valuable Landon jugate, but certainly the best desirable and a key piece in any display.
