Description
Horace Greeley: Jugate Shell Medallion. Listed as DeWitt HG-1872-22, jugate medallion is 28 mm. in diameter and made of silvered copper. It retains 90% plus of the original silvering. DeWitt opines that only twenty were struck. We believe they were produced by Scovill's in Waterbury. The condition is superb.Auction Info
