Description

Henry Ford: 1924 Hopeful Name Button. 7/8" button inscribed "Ford!" with Whitehead & Hoag back paper. This came out of a collection of fifty Whitehead & Hoag sample buttons dating from 1924 to 1930. A good number of these buttons were from 1924. Given this context, the lack of any reference to a particular model or feature of a Ford automobile (most car advertising buttons issued by Ford were mass produced lithographs by Geraghty of Chicago) and the slogan itself, we are confident in our attribution. Mint condition.
