Description

Franklin D. Roosevelt: Collection of Buttons Supporting The National Recovery Administration (NRA). A diverse and appealing group of 21 original celluloid pinback buttons, ranging from ⅝" to 1 ¾", all promoting President Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal initiatives. The collection includes examples produced by or endorsing businesses and local organizations that aligned with FDR's recovery programs, such as Bud the Tailor, Freihofer's, W.T. Grant, and the Newhard Family of Allentown, Pennsylvania-whose early 19th-century hardware enterprise continued into the 1930s with strong Democratic and New Deal support. An impressive and well-rounded selection for the FDR or National Recovery Administration specialist.

Condition: Generally very good to excellent condition. Please refer to photo.
