Description
Bryan & Kern: Glorious Uncle Sam Jugate. This is our favorite button from the Golden Age of Politicals, exemplified by the great designs issued in 1908. It is an 1 3/4" button with portraits of Bryan and Kern flanking a standing figure of Uncle Sam who appears to lend his endorsement. Colors are red, white, blue, brown, gold and yellow. A single star at the bottom might indicate it was issued specifically for use in Texas. Though produced by Ehrman, it has a W. F. Miller of New York back paper. There are no stains, cuts, gouges or other serious defects. It is clean, bright and perfectly centered. They don't make them like this anymore!!Auction Info
