Alton B. Parker: Rare Pre-Presidential New York Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals Button. 7/8" celluloid with a National Equipment Company, New York backmark. A marvelous campaign button, circa 1897, for Parker's successful run for Chief Judge of the New York Court of Appeals. Parker served in this capacity until 1904 when he resigned and ran a failed campaign for president as the Democratic nominee. A rare button in choice, virtually unimprovable condition.Auction Info
