Franklin Pierce: Rare Clothing Button. Franklin Pierce appears on this 1 1/8" two-piece brass clothing button. The design elements are an eagle, laurel wreath, draped flags, and a shield. The back plate is inscribed "Sporting Best Quality". It has some wear on the portrait, but is in decent shape overall. It is a fairly rare piece for a tough candidate, lacking in most collections.Auction Info
