Description

McKinley & Roosevelt: Classic Jugate Poster. "The Administration's Promises Have Been Kept" features William McKinley and Theodore Roosevelt at the center. Below their portraits, bold red text reads, "'The American Flag Has Not Been Planted in Foreign Soil To Acquire More Territory But For Humanity's Sake' (McKinley, July 12, 1900)." To the candidates' left are vignettes of troubles the country suffered under the previous Democratic administration, while on the right are shown vignettes of prosperity and justice under McKinley's first administration. The poster is attractively framed and matted with a sight size of 23.875" x 15.5" and an overall size of 30.25" x 23.25".

Condition: Expected light toning is present throughout, and a small stain is at the center of the left edge. An old fold line is at the top left corner, and a few very small tears are at the left and right edges. The mat has a label with partial text missing. The poster has not been inspected outside of the frame. In excellent condition, the piece has fantastic colors and a great design.
