Martin Van Buren: A Superb Papier-Mâché Snuffbox. Among the early three-dimensional political items, these colorful snuffboxes are among the most highly prized. This beauty, with the Capitol building in the background, is one of the best we've seen. All Van Buren items, especially of a display nature, run from scarce to rare. Condition is remarkable, probably in the top 5% of surviving boxes of this type. Aside from the slightest hint of crazing upon close examination, it is near mint.
