James K. Polk: Inauguration Ball Invitation. 8" x 5.5" coated stock card titled "Inauguration Ball". It features a portrait of Polk and was issued to Mrs. Judson in conjunction with the Washington, D. C. inaugural ball held at Carusi's Saloon on March 4, 1845. James Buchanan and John C. Calhoun are listed among the managers of the event.Condition: Excellent overall with just normal light wear.
