Description
James Buchanan: Inauguration Ball Invitation. Miss Mary Eliza Clements attended Buchanan's inaugural ball on March 4, 1857 and this is her invitation to prove it! It measures 10" x 7" and is engraved on coated stock. As with many examples, the white finish has discolored over the years to a bluish-pink color. It is complete and displays nicely.Auction Info
