George Washington: "Memorable Era" Inaugural Button. GW-1789-4, Albert WI-1a "Eagle with Date", 34 mm brass with original shank. Word "Era" weakly struck, as is typical. Cleaned at one time, but a very attractive example of this must-have GW... the only pattern containing the proposed date of the inauguration ceremony. A very pretty piece.Auction Info
