1789 George Washington Inaugural Button
Sullivan's GW 1789-25, but in brass rather than silvered copper as listed. The smallest size GW at 15 mm, and a very nice variety with, "Long Live the President" slogan and olive wreath. Original shank. Extremely Fine but for edge wear along right side. The example in Slater's April, 2004 auction fetched $4086 including buyer's premium.
