Description
Henry A. Wallace: Original Artwork for Anti-Truman Cartoon or Poster. 13" x 17" ink sketch captioned "Vote For Henry A. Wallace". It shows mother hen Truman pointing to the rooster "80th Congress", declaring "It's His Fault!". A brood of chicks, each labeled with a campaign talking-point, paint a bad picture for the incumbent President. Ironically, many of the issues resonate today, such as: Deportations, No Housing, Union Busting, High Prices, Hate, Terror, Witch Hunts, Inflation, Fear, and Profits. Signed illegibly by the artist.
