Stephen A. Douglas: Back-to-Back Ferrotype.? SD-1860-39, 25 gilt brass shell. The Douglas portrait is excellent. The Johnson has some edge chipping, not affecting the portrait, as well as some scattered light rust to the frame. Both portraits clear with good detail.
