Trio of sixteenth plate tintypes (1 3/8" x 1 5/8") depicting antebellum politicians Henry Clay (series of very small yet inconsequential circular chips in the right field, suspension loop at top, yellow storecard inscribed "Henry Clay"), Cassius Clay (light crazing seen only at an angle, pink storecard inscribed "Hon. Cassius M. Clay") and John C. Calhoun (minor bend in right field, pink storecard inscribed "John C. Calhoun").
