Description

[Abraham Lincoln]: Reading of Emancipation Proclamation Lithograph. An 18" x 20" engraving titled: "Reading the Emancipation Proclamation". It shows an African American soldier reading aloud the text of the Emancipation Proclamation to his family. Published in 1864 by Lucius Stebbins of Connecticut.

Condition: Light toning mostly along extreme edges, a few border tears not affecting plate. It displays very well and is a rare print.
