Description
Andrew Jackson: Political Powder Horn. 11" long unadorned powder horn with 2" x 1" embossed brass plaque attached at the base. It has a military bust of Jackson surrounded by a laurel & oak wreath, inscribed "Gen. Jackson Presd:". Chain may be an old replacement. A highly evocative item completely in keeping with Jackson's frontier, Western image. By the eternal, this is a great piece!From the collection of Ed Sullivan.
