Description
Ulysses S. Grant: China Portrait Cup. 2.5" high. The cup, with a sepia transfer of Grant in civilian clothes, is marked "T&V" for Tressemann & Vogt, Limoges, France. There are hand-painted gold decorations on either side of the portrait and the handle. There is a small area on the lip that has been ground, else fine. From the Edward C.
