Description
James Madison: Superb Signed Miniature on Ivory. A beautifully executed portrait, signed in the right field in tiny letters that appear to read "Wolic". The toned, embossed oval metal frame appears to be original, however the very attractive inlaid wood frame, while vintage, is not. Certainly an early nineteenth century piece which could well be contemporary of Madison. Choice condition. 1.75" x 2". Framed to 2.5" x 3".Auction Info
