George Washington: Rare and Impressive Liverpool Pitcher. 9" tall creamware jug with large portrait of Washington on one side encircled by a grapevine, captioned "The President of the United States of America". The opposite has a Masonic transfer captioned "Veritas Est Intus." This is one of the rarest of all Washington transfers, made especially desirable as it was clearly used during Washington's term of office. Some museum-grade restoration to the spout; otherwise, in near-mint condition. The transfers are exceptionally crisp & bold, not marred by scratches or other signs of wear. Superb!Auction Info
