Description
George Washington: Presidential Liverpool Pitcher. 6.75" tall creamware pitcher with patriotic transfers of Washington surrounded by the names of fifteen states, and a three-masted sailing ship flying a fifteen-star American flag. Likely produced during Washington's second term of office. The transfers are both crisp. There has been some restoration. We detect a hairline running downward to the right of the sailing ship. There is evidence that the spout and a section of the top was broken away and repaired. There is also some evidence of restoration at the bottom. There is also one chip at the raised bottom rim.
