Description
George Washington: Pre-Presidential Liverpool Tankard. 5" Liverpool mug or tankard with transfer portrait of Washington on horseback directing troops in battle. It is titled: "His Excellency General George Washington , Marshal of France, & Commander in Chief of all the North American Continental Forces." The title indicates it may have been manufactured during the course of the Revolutionary War. Some minor wear and discoloration encircling the bottom edge, of no consequence whatsoever.
